Welcome to Soma Vine Village.
Every meaningful journey begins with curiosity. For me, that curiosity started with the soil beneath my feet. Growing up in an agricultural family, I learned early on to respect the rhythms of nature. Those early years became the foundation of my philosophy: that great wine isn’t just manufactured; they are made in the vineyard.
My time spent working alongside international experts from France and Chile taught me the precision of winemaking, but more importantly, it taught me the soul of it. After spending over a decade helping shape the Indian wine industry, I felt a calling to create something more personal a place where the craft of winemaking and the art of hospitality could live together in harmony.
Soma Vine Village was never intended to be just a destination; it was envisioned as a sanctuary. We developed these vineyards to express the unique character of Nashik’s terroir, crafting wines that prioritize balance and authenticity through our winery, barrel room, and banquet spaces. Every space here from our tasting rooms to our villas is designed to help you slow down. We want you to feel the connection between the glass in your hand and the land that produced it.

The true essence of Soma cannot be captured in words or photos; it is found in the quiet moments. It’s in a walk through the vines at sunrise or the first sip of a vintage shared with friends. Our Reserve and Grand Reserve wines from American and French oak will surprise you, whether you taste them directly from the barrels or from the bottle-aged collection.
